Gülberk Gültekin Salman

Gülberk Gültekin Salman is a professor at Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, Turkey. Her research interests mainly focus on sports marketing, sports branding, consumer and fan behaviour and service marketing with numerous publications. She is a former Turkish tennis player who was Turkish champion for 8 consecutive years. She carried the torch at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. She won the first medal in tennis for Turkey in doubles at the Mediterranean Games. In addition, she was a member of the Women’s Committee of the International Tennis Federation from 2017-2019 and a member of the Education and Technical Council of the Turkish Tennis Federation from 2017-2021. She has also been a member of the Sports Science Council of the Başakşehir Municipality since 2022. He is the scientific coordinator of FIFA/CIES international education programmes.
